5. In 28 states, automobile insurance companies are required to pay the sales tax when you replace your totaled automobile.
6. The color of your vehicle has no effect on your insurance rates. It doesn’t matter if your car is red, green, or blue, the color of your vehicle is not something that insurance companies consider.
7. Always be certain that the information listed on your insurance policy is accurate. Small discrepancies can make a big difference in the cost of your automobile insurance. Mistakes like this happen quite frequently. People list the incorrect mileage; they mistake a two door vehicle for a four door vehicle, and more. These mistakes can be costly because the rates vary quite a bit between a two and a four door vehicle.
